A.1 Role of TaxSlayer Pro
Tax Monkey LLC uses TaxSlayer Pro, a professional tax preparation software platform, to prepare and electronically file federal and state tax returns.
For purposes of privacy and data protection laws:
• Tax Monkey LLC acts as the Data Controller
• TaxSlayer Pro acts as a Service Provider / Data Processor
TaxSlayer Pro’s public privacy policy states that it does not govern personal data processed on behalf of professional preparers; instead, the preparer’s own privacy policy applies.
A.2 Information Shared
Tax return information shared with TaxSlayer Pro may include:
• Taxpayer and dependent names
• Social Security Numbers or ITINs
• Dates of birth
• Income, deductions, credits, and filing status
• Bank account information for refunds or payments

Only information necessary for tax preparation and filing is shared.
A.3 Permitted Uses
